Communications
Reaching our church community through technology is an exciting way to serve the church. Our communications team assists our staff in communicating with our congregation via email, social media and our website. This team also as has serving needs in working our AV booth for worship services and other events throughout the year. No experience is necessary to serve on this team, just a heart to share Jesus with others.
Confirmation
A ministry for 5th and 6th grade students to establish roots in the faith, grow in discipleship of Christ, and thrive in their community. Serve team members play a pivotal role in the Confirmation ministry. Through their hospitality and shepherding of students at weekly gatherings and special events, serve team members provide a safe environment that leads students towards Jesus.
Connecting
Provide hospitality and creating a welcoming environment for our guests to experience worship and find a connection with others. Our serve team members welcome guests, provide a bridge for visitors to learn about the church and its ministries, and assist in welcoming new members.
Discipleship
This team acts as a “hub” for resources (people and materials) that our church community can use as they seek to lead others to a deeper knowledge of Christ. This includes helping to start small groups, identifying and equipping leaders, and determining the curriculum that will engage our members to grow in their walk with Christ.
Missions
Assist in coordinating, planning and implementing or just participating in mission/service events for our church, locally to our community and beyond. https://christmethodistsumner.org/missions/
