Notes from Pastor Joshua . . .

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?” (Isaiah 43:19)

Welcome to Christ Methodist Church! We are a new church family that is humbled and thrilled to be a part of what God is doing in Sumner County and beyond. Words here cannot express the full sentiment of all the ways Christ’s grace has propelled us, provided for us, inspired us, and left us speechless in awe of all the ways the Holy Spirit is clearly directing the birth of this new Church. We excitedly welcome you to experience what God is doing first-hand by joining us for our inaugural worship service at 10:30am on Sunday, November 12th at the Hendersonville Seventh Day Adventist Church (118 Anderson Lane).

As we await our special day on November 12th, we also invite you to prepare spiritually with us by praying daily at 1:18pm (118 being the address of the Church) and fasting with us (if able) on November 11th. Our Transitional Leadership Team would appreciate your prayers as we join together, asking God boldly to direct our vision for CMC, for Christ to be glorified in our planning for our first worship service, and for new brothers and sisters to sense God’s drawing into the folds of His saving grace. It is an exciting time to be sure! Whether you join us in person on the 12th, in spirit through prayer and fasting, or both!–we are excited to celebrate with you and your families the abundance of what God is making new within us and Christ Methodist Church!

Soli Deo Gloria,

  ~Pastor Joshua Strader
